Add-on · Live Analysis

Real-time feedback during the microscope session.

Live Analysis processes your data while the session is still running, so the questions that normally wait for tomorrow get answered while you can still act on them.

What you get

Answers while the session is still running.

Four things change the moment processing stops waiting for collection to finish.

Runs in parallel

Collection, upload and processing overlap instead of queueing behind one another.

First insights in 10 minutes

And reachable from anywhere. You do not have to be sitting at the microscope.

Inspect on the fly

Ice thickness, particle density and 2D classes, updating as the data arrives.

Prioritise on the scope

Decide which samples deserve the remaining session time, while you still have it.

On the fly

The three things you actually check first.

Live Analysis surfaces the same signals you would look for at the end of a session. The difference is that they arrive early enough to change what you do next.

Ice thickness. Is the grid in a usable range, or are you collecting through ice that will cost you resolution?

Particle density. Enough particles per micrograph to make the session worth continuing?

2D classes. Do real, interpretable views appear, or is it mostly junk and contamination?

junk

Illustrative. Class averages are generated for the page to show the layout, not results from a real dataset.

2D classes

Watch real views appear, or fail to.

Class averages are the honest test of a grid. When interpretable views appear, you know the session is worth continuing. When they do not, you learn that in minutes instead of tomorrow.

The decision

Spend the rest of the session on the grid that deserves it.

Session time is the scarce resource. Seeing which samples are working while you are still on the scope turns a post-hoc verdict into a decision you can still act on.

Grid A

Prioritise

Classes resolving, density holding

Grid B

Thin ice at the edges

Grid C

Mostly contamination

Grid D

Clean views, good spread

Why it matters

The same session, two outcomes.

Without

You find out afterwards.

Collection finishes, the data uploads and processing starts. The verdict on the grid arrives once the session is over. If the ice was wrong or the particles were not there, the scope time is already spent.

With Live Analysis

You find out in time to change it.

Processing runs alongside collection and upload. First insights land within 10 minutes, so a struggling grid can be dropped and a promising one can take the remaining session.
